Our Story
Junk Throw was built from persistence and a simple goal: create a junk removal company that treats people right.
While working at GOT-JUNK?, I learned a lot about the industry and what separates an average customer experience from a great one. I loved the fast-paced work and meeting customers all over Portland every day. But after getting injured on the job and receiving no support during recovery, I decided to build my own path.
With a leased pickup truck, a strong work ethic, and a vision for building Portland’s friendliest service, Uncle Johnny’s Junk Removal and Services LLC was born. I started by helping neighbors around Portland with old furniture, garage cleanouts, and yard debris. By simply showing up and doing the job right, referrals and repeat customers kept the business growing.
Even through unexpected challenges like COVID and personal family matters, my passion for helping people never went away. When it was time for a fresh start, Junk Throw Junk Removal was created. We quickly upgraded to our first box truck to keep up with regional demand.
Today, Junk Throw has grown into one of Portland’s favorite local teams by sticking to the same core values from day one:
- Hard work
- Honesty
- Reliability
- Fair pricing
- Treating every customer and property with absolute respect
We appreciate every customer, review, and referral that has supported us through the years, and we are proud to continue serving the Portland metro area for years to come.
